The 3rd Tuesday Band needs a bass player. Standup or electric is fine, but reading is a must. We meet 1x per month, so ideal for someone with great chops and other commitments. We're all in that boat. The band is a reading band. We never play down to an audience. We play what interests and challenges us. The book changes constantly. Arrangers include Goodwin, Wolpe, Warrington, Davies, Monk, Holman, Nestico, and sometimes band members. If this is your bag, give me a shout!
