Description

We are looking to rehome our beagle-hound mix, George Michael. We adopted him from the humane society 4 years ago so that our other dog would have a buddy, and they estimated he was 2 years old then so he is about 6 years old now. He is the sweetest little dog who just wants to please you. But he needs to be the only dog in the home. We have worked extensively with him and a trainer to help him learn his manners around other dogs, and he is very well behaved now, but unfortunately he still has behavioral issues around our other dog that have resulted in a few bad fights. We feel we owe it to both of our dogs to separate them. George Michael LOVES to lay on his bed and watch TV with you. He also loves to chase rabbits and squirrels in the backyard. He will need a fenced yard or to be leashed when outside, because he loves a good rabbit chase. He is great and very gentle with children and adults. I’ve never seen a dog give you his paw so delicately, it is very cute. He is not a dog park dog. He does not do well around any other dogs, but especially male dogs. He needs a home where he can be ‘top dog’ with all the love and attention unshared, and where other dogs won’t visit. He is the best little buddy to his humans. If you want a dog who is a snuggle bug, couch potato, and only wants to hang out with you, 24/7, George is your guy. George is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with all his shots. He weighs about 45 lbs. He will come with his kennel, leashes, and “leather couch” bed.
