Senior couple in Two Rivers, looking for a smaller dog. Prefer under 10-15 lbs, but would consider up to 25- 30 lbs depending on breed mannerisms, attitude, and training. We have had strays, rescues, and special needs, and loved them all. Last one has crossed over and we would like to help another dog have a wonderful life. Large, doggie interesting, fenced back yard. Prefer the dog is fixed male, will consider others. Any female dog must be fixed. Must be healthy and young enough so we have some years together. Must have some good experience around small children, as our grandkids are smaller and visit. Dog friendly would be nice, as we have dogs that visit. House trained a must if an adult or older pup. Younger pup that has shown ability to house train considered. Crate trained preferred but not an absolute. A small rehoming fee is fine, but not interested in paying alot. $500 breeder pups, don't bother us. We had many wonderful years with free strays and cheaper rescues no one else wanted. To us it is a life to save, and share, a family member, not a possession. Text or email first.
