HOW DID THIS HAPPEN ?

How did we get to a point where a vast majority of Republicans believe things that are outside of reality. For example they believe the 2020 election was fraudulent despite ALL Republican election officials testifying that it was not fraudulent. They also believe that Biden is responsible for inflation despite the FACT that inflation in also happening in all developed countries right now due to supply and demand imbalance caused by Covid and the war in Ukraine and it's even worse elsewhere for example the 8% inflation here compared to the 11% in England. They also don't believe global warming is real despite the global heat wave around the world in Europe, Canada, U.S., India etc. and the wildfires that used to be seasonal are now happening year round, also major flooding caused by rapid snow melting as we just saw in Yellowstone Park destroying huge areas of the park. They also blame Democrats for illegal immigration despite the FACT that it has been going on for decades under the GOP as well and all efforts by Democrats to reform immigration policy have been blocked by the corrupt GOP. (FACT) This is only a partial list of the misinformation that is spread by ignorant and dishonest Republicans and Americans are slowly learning that the GOP is corrupt and a threat not only to this nation but to the entire planet. (FACT) So to answer the question of "How did this happen?" I think the answer lies in the corrupt conservative media like Fox (faux) "News" and talk radio that lies to their viewers, listeners and are a threat to civilized society.
