The purpose of Our 3rd Annual Civic Luncheon is to increase awareness and to raise funds for Milwaukee County programs and services of The Salvation Army. Our theme this year is "Love Beyond the Bases" and we will address individual experiences and the organizational needs of The Salvation Army as we ask, “How will you step up to the plate.” This luncheon will include a panel discussion to address how individuals and organizations can (step up to the plate) to aid in addressing various social ills, including but not limited to meeting the basic needs of families and individuals in Milwaukee County. This year, our special guests will include:Betina Driver - Donald Driver Foundation Co-Founder and Board Member, health and wellness expert and philanthropist, and wife of NFL Hall of Famer, former Green Bay Packer, Donald DriverMolly Crosby - Give a Kid a Book Spokesperson, Community Volunteer, longtime Salvation Army Supporter, and wife of Green Bay Packer Kicker, Mason CrosbyCecelia Gore - Executive Director of the Brewers Community FoundationThe panel of philanthropist will be interviewed by Jen Lada of ESPN Milwaukee. How can you “step up to the plate” and support this great event? How about a donation to our Silent Auction? Your contribution to our Silent Auction plays an integral role in the attainment of our overall event goal. We are looking for raffle items such as gift certificates to shops and restaurants, tickets to theater productions, hotel stays, sporting events, summer festivals, movie theaters and unique items such as signed sports memorabilia and one-of-a-kind experiences. Donated items will be auctioned off individually or combined to make fun raffle baskets or experience packages. Silent Auction donors will be recognized in the "Love Beyond the Bases" program and listed on the event website and selected social media outlets.
