This is an introductory class on learning various macrame knots and finishing up with an easy starter piece of your own to take home as a memory of time well spent with friends! Macrame is an ancient hand craft that originates from the Arab culture in the 17th century. Macrame is used to produce unique jewelry, wall hangings, clothing and an assortment of household goods. We will start out with basic knot tying with the intent to create a simple finished piece. Please join us for some fun learning the basics of this intriguing hand craft that is great to learn in a group setting.
