Join us for the "Love of Light" Record Release Party LIVE at the MUSE in Montauk, Friday July 29th. We kickoff the event with a VIP Band Experience at 7- 9:30PM. This includes intimate networking cocktails, passed fun small bites, an acoustic set, and an interesting Q & A with Andy Aledort and Radio host Harry Wareing (92.9) as he discusses his life as a musician and a gift bag with his latest Album. The Concert begins after this meet & greet and general admission includes access into the Muse bar and restaurant any time before for delicious food by Chef Ronny De Los Santos from Scarpetta Beach at Gurneys now Executive Chef @ Muse. Andy Aledort (guitar/vocals) has been an essential contributor to the international music scene as a performer, journalist, and instructor for over 35 years. He has recorded and toured the world with original Jimi Hendrix bandmates Mitch Mitchell and Buddy Miles, with Stevie Ray Vaughan’s band Double Trouble featuring Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon, and also as a member of Allman Brother founding member Dickey Betts' Great Southern for 12 years. Andy has also sold over one million guitar instructional DVDs and is an editor for Guitar World Magazine. He is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller "Texas Flood: The Inside Story of Stevie Ray Vaughan." He also starred on Broadway in the critically acclaimed Lackawanna Blues. He has performed in recent years with Phil Lesh and Friends, Oteil Burbridge and the Marshall Tucker Band and been a frequent guest of bands including Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gov’t Mule, Marshall Tucker Band and Los Lobos. Sam Bryant (drums) is nationally known as “The Freight Train” in the music world and has played drums and percussion professionally for 30 years, currently touring as Chris Layton’s first call sub for Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s band and with international Blues Artist Popa Chubby as well as 2 time Grammy nominated songwriter/singer Brandy Clark. Sam was voted in Drum Magazine as a top R&B drummer along with John Blackwell (Prince), Ahmir Khalib Thompson (The Roots), and Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan). Roy DeJesus (bass) is a much in-demand bassist in the NYC/tri-state area and appears with many different artists, primarily as the bassist in Andy Aledort and the Groove Kings. He has performed and toured the USA regularly over the last 30 years and his masterful playing style is rooted in the great tradition of Motown legends James Jamerson, Willie Weeks and Jerry Jemmott. Mike Dimeo (kybds/vocals) remains a highly in-demand musician and has recorded and toured the globe over the last 30 years with Deep Purple, Riot, Masterplan, Tommy James, Bonnie Tyler, Johnny Winter and many others.
