The film follows the lives of two families, a single mother and a couple with two small children, both impacted by health complications and financial insecurity.
Following the film, a panel will discuss the impacts of stereotyping people experiencing poverty. They will explore how those stereotypes create barriers for people needing to access helpful services and resources.
We will be unpacking how stereotypes show up in our own communities and offer opportunities for discussion and collaboration. Our goal is to provide opportunities to see the whole person so we can serve the whole community. Food, adult beverages, and facilitated activities will be available throughout the evening.
Check out a few behind the scenes shots of the filming process.
