Woodfield Rd, Suite 312, Schaumburg, IL 60173.North West Housing Partnership, a non-profit & HUD-APPROVED housing counseling agency, will have HUD Certified Housing Counselors and various housing experts available: lender, realtor, financial advisor, home inspector, insurance agent, and real estate attorney. The home buyer education certificate is required to receive down payment and closing cost assistance through Federal, State, County, and mortgagor grant servicers. Some lending institutions may require the certificate in order to obtain a loan.
