Jewelry is historically one of the forms of expression of a culture. In the digital age, this discipline adapts and transforms, and the boundary between art objects and costume trends becomes very blurred. Whether one designs a limited edition piece of jewelry or an entire fashion jewelry collection, digital design is now obligatory. We will walk through the basics of digital jewelry design using organic modeling and parametric design, with an eye on digital fabrication and especially 3D printing.
