We can't wait to host award-winning middle grades author, Kristin O'Donnell Tubb! She will not only be discussing her books but will also be teaching a writing workshop for kids! She is best known for her books A Dog Like Daisy and The Story Collector. PLUS -thanks to a grant from the Nora Roberts Foundation, we will be giving away copies of one of her books to the first 20 families to get tickets to her visit!
Ms. Tubb's visit is a part of our WILD Summer of Authors program, funded in part by a grant from Humanities Tennessee, an independent affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
You must be a current patron of the SDCL in good standing (no late fees or overdue books) to participate in this event.
"I’m basically a dork who would still be going to school if they’d let me. But they won’t (because weird), so I write fiction instead. All of the research, none of the quizzes. It’s heaven! I love to hear from readers, teachers, librarians, writers, long-lost friends, friends who aren't long or lost, media personnel, family members, household pets...pretty much everyone!"
