Become a dog foster with Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue What a great way to enjoy having a dog without it being a permanent thing. Fosters plays a critical role in the rescue and placement of our dogs in new forever homes. The majority of our dogs are placed in foster homes after they are surrendered to us by the owners or rescued from a shelter. Fosters are the bridge to provide a safe and secure home for the dog until we find it its new forever home. Fosters perform a variety of duties: feeding the dog, taking the dog for walks, playing with the dog, and socializing with other dogs. We provide all the needed supplies and cover all costs.
