Rehoming Cockatiel

Description

This is a healthy male that is 9 months old, hatched 9/12/2021. He is grey and white. I have worked with him to no avail. I was able to get him to barely step up, but he immediately launches backwards. He does this in his cage as well and has broken most of his tail feathers. I put a grass mat in the middle to slow his falls, and it seems to have helped. He has been checked out by a great vet and he is very healthy. He eats well and I have seen him drink water. He has learned whistles from his cage mate, and yells if he cannot see me. Once he sees me, the yelling stops but he wants nothing to do with me. I have an outside cage I use at least once a week, and this last transition went poorly. Usually, I can get him on my finger, cup my hand over him to prevent his falling if he launches and can transfer him to another cage. The last time he bit and made me bleed. Today, he was ANGRY as hell-yet he doesn't want to be alone while his cage mate is outside. Neither are happy then, and flock call constantly. He still needs a LOT of work, and still will not exit the cage by himself. He will avoid being picked up and finally bit hard enough to draw blood. At this point, I give up. I got him as a companion for my first bird-his bad habits are now affecting my 2 year old little man. He is the dominate one, mounts my older bird, and picks on him. He needs a patience, experienced Cockatiel home. I am an adopt for life owner, but as he is now affecting my other bird he needs a new home. I am asking $300 rehoming fee to ensure someone who really wants him and has the means to care for him properly takes him home. I'll keep him before I let him go to a novice bird owner-he is still important even if he is frustrating me. He eats ZuPreem fruit pellets mixed with ZuPreem seed and standard pellets mixed in. He also loves greens like kale, red cabbage and broccoli shredded. I have successfully brought both to work a couple times which went really well. First picture shows both birds a couple weeks ago, on their perch. The second shows him tonight (and a corner of the grass mat can be seen) and the third is also tonight, with the cage door closed. I need to know your experience, and your set up. Thank you for replying without judgement, as this is a difficult decision. Please include your phone number. Thank you.
