My restaurant's name is derived from both my grandmother's middle names, which is also mine. When you think of a grandmother, you think of comfort and love. My food is very comforting, full-filling, and flavorful; my customers always stated that my dishes are "Made with love". Reminiscent of the feeling that you would only get from your grandmother's house. I opened Mae’s Cafe in April 2017! We started out serving brunch; anything from deep-fried fish with grits, the iconic blueberry waffle sandwich, and my special seafood home fries. Those dishes were the foundation of “The Mae Way”.
