Join us for the 10th Annual Jagannatha Parade & Picnic on July 30th 2022! We will arrive early at the "White House Lawn" 2 Inselruhe, and start the procession around Belle Isle by 10:30am. Walk, dance and sing with us glorifying the Lord of the Universe, Lord Jagannatha! This is an ancient festival from India called Rathayatra when Lord Jagannatha comes out of the temple to bless everyone, and the devotees pull Him home to their hearts by pulling His cart. Learn to chant the Maha Mantra (the great chant for deliverance) Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare! We will serve a delicious vegetarian feast and have spiritual talks and books available. This is a wonderful gathering of spiritual practitioners, and a great time to learn new things!
