Description
LOWER MANHATTAN, NY — A scooter driver slammed into a toddler and sped away down a Lower Manhattan street, police said Thursday night.
The two-year-old and his dad were crossing the intersection Suffolk and East Houston streets about about 7:40 p.m. on June 2 when the crash occurred, police said.
The child was left with full-body cuts and scrapes but did not require hospitalization, police said.
The driver, who police released photos of for the first time on Thursday, then fled the Lower Manhattan street, police said.
