Press release from Shreve Memorial Library: June 16, 2022 The public is encouraged to attend an Author Chat and Book Signing with local author Linda Johnson on Tuesday, June 21, at Shreve Memorial Library Cedar Grove – Line Avenue Branch. Johnson will talk about her book Missing Teeth: The Last Discrimination Hiding in Plain Sight. The event takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the meeting room at the branch, located at 8303 Line Avenue. Johnson will meet and greet attendees and give a brief synopsis of her book Missing Teeth: The Last Discrimination Hiding in Plain Sight. A Q&A session will follow. Johnson is a Shreveport native and retired chemist. She is a graduate of Union High School, Southern University and while away, she also earned a Doctoral Degree from Living Epistle Bible College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
