COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Many students from Collingswood were recognized for their achievements in recent weeks. Many of the organizations that noted the students' achievements consisted of experts, advisers and similar professionals in the areas the students were recognized. On June 1, the National Merit Scholarship Foundation announced that Ava M. Ostrem received a National Merit Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey Scholarship. And on June 4, the Ranatra Fusca Awards, which falls under the realm of Odyssey of the Mind, called out a team from Collingswood for creating a working pipe organ out of an air mattress, balloons, straws and PVC pipes.
