KENNEDY TOWNSHIP, PA — Allegheny County SWAT officers and the homicide unit are responding to a shooting in Kennedy Township on Friday afternoon, local media report. WTAE and WPXI both report SWAT units are on Jane Street on Friday afternoon. Allegheny County Police told both media outlets that homicide detectives and the SWAT unit are assisting Kennedy Police. Police told WPXI reporter Sarafina James that there is possibly a suspect barricaded in the area.
