To the nice hikers who found/took care of Corky the lonely dog on Bird Ridge: I found his owner near the bottom of the trail. He seemed happy that Corky was with someone and had made new friends, but otherwise indifferent. Said Corky is his wife's dog so he doesn't care if someone else takes him. I didn't know if he was kidding or not. So maybe you now have a new dog!
