Description
CURLY FRY IS SET TO BE EUTHANIZED 6/21 OR POSSIBLY SOONER. AN ADOPTER OR FOSTER IS NEEDED ASAP!
Curly Fry (#A4737443) is a 4-yr.-old, spayed, sable and white Labrador Retriever mix (67 lbs.).
Poor Curly Fry was dumped in someone’s back yard and brought to the shelter by the homeowner. He said that she had to be coaxed with treats to get her to approach but appeared to like people and was good with his dogs.
Curly Fry hasn’t been at MCACC very long and she’s a bmod (due to some timidity), so she hasn’t been walked by many people and therefore hasn’t received much networking. She’s amazing, sweet, walks on leash (erratic but walks, she’s still learning!). Her kennel presence is atrocious but she’s very sweet out of the kennel, not reactive outside of the kennel, and she has notes of being ok with the finder's dogs. It's possible that she’s ok with dogs (with a slow intro of course). She loves her people and wants to be close to you at all times.
It is recommended that Curly Fry has an adopter that understands what a stressed dog needs, that she goes to a home with older children, and that she gets help with leash skills. She would benefit from a predictable routine, a lot of time to decompress and relax, and exercise and play time.
Please go meet her and save her life!
