Grant needs our help less than two days to live or will be Euthanized 😪 #A4738421 West shelter #theshelterisfull Grant is a 2 yr old triwalker hound mix. He came to the shelter as a stray with another dog. Grant is terrified to exit his kennel. He has only been out a couple times😭 since intake on 5/17/22. He is losing weight fast, likely due to the stress he is having. Grant allows some soft pets once trust has been developed. He perks up when other dogs walk by him. He would probably benefit from a calm doggy sibling. (Dog evaluations are not done at the shelter, however, he came in with another dog.) Grant does not want to walk on the leash. Once out of the shelter adopter will have a better idea of how he is on the leash. Adopter should be experienced with fearful dogs. He will likely need a crate when leaving the shelter.
