Hi, I'm looking for a musical collaborator who is interested in both recording and performing. Specifically, I'm interested in someone who would like to make music that's rhythmic and grooving, but also melodic--ranging anywhere from dark to lush to distant and anywhere in between/beyond. Are you interested in music like this? Are you a producer of music like this? I am, and I am. I'd like to work with someone who approaches it from a different angle than I do and see what happens. My primary instrument is guitar, and I make music using drum machines, effects, loops, etc. (and also just with an acoustic guitar sometimes!). I've recently started incorporating more MIDI stuff. What I'm proposing now is a collaboration with someone who might have a background with more digital instrumentation, as opposed to stringed. Let's see what we come up with. We could add to each other's base compositions in essentially a 50/50 collaboration. What say you?
