... if I ask them to surrender their guns to the police for everyone's safety? The right to bear arms for American citizens is a way of life. That will not give them up without a fight. They are law-abiding citizens who have the right to bear arms. If the second Amendment, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. To force gun control will be unconstitutional. That will take the guns away from law-abiding citizens but not take the guns off the streets. Citizens would be defenseless on the streets and in their own homes. We would also be defenseless in an enemy attack. Ask the citizens of Ukraine. There are the hunters who control wildlife. That putting food on their tables. What about, If you want to make America safe, build the wall. Put the blame for school shootings on whom the guns are registered in. It is the responsibility of the gun owner to keep it out of the hands of their children. A person who committed a public mass shooting in the U.S. over the last half-century was commonly troubled people. Except for young school shooters who steal the gun from family members. Take the guns away from families who have children in their homes. Or The family members of the child shooter pay the price for the spree shooters. Taking the Second Amendment away from law-abiding citizens is not the answer. It will create more bloodshed.
