Companion/caregiver for blind man

I’m looking for someone to come to our home in Elmwood, Providence, 3-4 days per week for a couple of hours per day to provide companionship and caregiving to my blind husband. Responsibilities would include making lunch, talking a walk, reading or just chatting with him while I work, and occasionally taking him to appointments. Hours would range from 6-10 per week, with the possibility of more occasionally when I travel (if that works for you). No personal care duties; we don’t need a CNA or any skilled nursing. We just need someone personable and kind who can chat with a retired attorney with lots of stories to tell. We pay $20/hour plus mileage for any errands/appointments. We can flexible about specific hours/days but mid-day is when we have the most need.
