Description
I have a fence on one side of the yard that’s 11 stockades in length.
Four of them fell down last winter, leaving 7 still up.
Three of the posts have rotted away and one is leaning.
I need:
• Take down the remaining 7 pieces of stockade fencing, as they
were put in wrong before (cross pieces should be facing inward,
towards the property, not facing outward).
• Dig out the three rotted stubs in the ground and the one that’s leaning.
• Replace with 4 new 4x4s which I already have.
• Put back all 11 stockade fencing correctly.
I figure temporarily taking down the remaining 7 stockage pieces
will take an hour; digging out the 4 old posts and putting in 4 new
ones, about an hour each, or 4 hours; and putting all 11 stockade
fencing back correctly, about 1.5 hours. Total hours: about 6.5 hours.
And I’ll round it off to 7 hours. At $60.00 an hour, that comes
to $420.00. Add on what you’d charge to haul away the 4 old posts.
I will pay you by check.
Thank you.
