Meet Jasper! He is a 3yr old Australian Shepherd mix and a little over 50lb. He was recently neutered in April. He is all up to date on all his vaccines. He is a great companion and loves being out and about in the woods! He has a lovely soft white coat, and blue and brown marble eyes and a gorgeous tail! He grew up in the country side of Rochester NY, and the last 7 months has been living in NYC. It’s been a hard adjustment, and although he gets miles of walks, and excursions to the woods to tromp, he would be much better suited to a home to more peace and quiet and space to run and play daily. He would make a great working dog, as he is very smart and would take well to some solid training. We’ve been doing great work with loose leash walking, and is good off leash in the woods and comes when called. He is fully house trained. He has had no bathroom accidents indoors, and has not destroyed or chewed on anything other than his own toys! (He will nibble on tissues though!) The hustle and bustle of the city has been a bit too much for him. He loves to cuddle. It’s been heartbreaking to see him so stressed these last few weeks and would love to find him a loving peaceful home where he could be happy.
