We are one of the top daycares in Northern Brooklyn with an impeccable reputation looking for a very responsible and caring person who LOVES dogs. We are looking for a dog handler to stay with our dogs boarding overnight at our daycare facility. This is a completely cage free environment. You are encouraged to get the dogs to rest at night which means you rest too! We have a very comfortable bed in which you can sleep as long as the dogs are sleeping as well. The pack gets a ton of energy out during the day so it best serves them to rest at night. We strive to resemble a bedroom away from home environment for the dogs. There are plenty of beds. This is also a perfect job for writers or netflix binge watchers or just people who have the need for K9 interaction. Generally the lights get dimmed and the dogs are quiet and sleeping from about 10/11pm until the next morning around 7am. You just need to clean up any poop and pee throughout the night and keep an eye out for any issues amongst the dogs. You must be detail oriented as feedings and medication directions need to be strictly followed. We are looking for experienced dog people, not just someone who has a cousin with a dog. Currently looking to fill Sunday 8pm -9am, Monday and Thursday 9pm - 8am. Making multiple hires to take one or two nights.
