We are seeking for an Experienced Trailer Mechanic to be a part of our team in Bolingbrook, IL. Typical job duties for the mechanic include but not limited to running diagnostic tests, repairing trailer vehicles, and performing preventative maintenance. The ideal person for this position will be eager to provide the best service and willing to communicate with companies’ drivers, and other Mechanics within the shop to achieve overall success of the shop. Direct Hire. Pay rate: $21.00/Hr. to 26.50/Hr. Depending on Experience. Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm 2nd Shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Verifiable ( 2 years minimum experience as Trailer Mechanic. ) • Typical trailer repair duties • FMCSA inspections • Body repair experience with dry van & reefer trailers • Able to diagnose ABS issues using the Lite Check ABS diagnostics • Perform disk & drum air brake repairs • Hydraulic trouble shooting on lift gate systems • Welding, stick, mig, and tig. • Computer literate • Able to work as a team member • Valid driver’s license • Have their own tools Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Please have an updated resume and reply with your phone number so we can call you with all the information.
