We're looking for a motivated person to join our growing, 13-year old local publications business … to sell advertising in an exclusive territory in East Dallas. WHITE ROCK LAKE WEEKLY is the popular, Free community newspaper serving more than 15,000 readers in the East Dallas area... including Lake Highlands, Casa Linda, Lakewood, Deep Ellum, Upper & Lower Greenville. The newspapers are placed in more than 440 prime locations: high traffic areas, restaurants and other local businesses, libraries, waiting rooms, realtors, churches, etc. for free pick-up by their patrons. You earn 50% commissions on the first year's revenue from the ads you sell and a sliding scale of commissions on the repeat business you develop. Full time... First year's projected earnings: $25k - $35k Second year's projected earnings: $40k - $60k Your responsibilities will include: Prospecting, phone calling, emailing, in-person presentations, closing sales, servicing your clients. …You must be able to work your exclusive territory a minimum of 25 daytime hours every week… Mon – Fri. ……You will be even more successful if you can devote up to 40 hours per week.
