That means we did not have to rely on other countries for our energy: we could provide it for ourselves. Now here we are again having to rely on other countries for our energy. What has changed? The party of the president. PERIOD The left WANTS high gas prices. This is all intentional. It's all part of their Great Reset. The left only cares about power: getting power and keeping power.
