Mainstream is a manufacturer of commercial HVAC equipment (see Mainstream-Corp.com). We are looking for an individual who can aid in shop assembly, see below. JOB DESCRIPTION: Shop Assembler JOB BRIEF: We are looking for an assembler to construct equipment in the shop. You will ensure all components are installed properly and are suitable for final product. You will use your hands, shop tools & provided machinery (forklift & gantry cranes) to do the job with precision & efficiency. You must have good technical knowledge, and posses an ability to ''learn how to learn'' so to quickly pick up the product design & shop workflow. Ability to follow drawings, model & follow instructions is also important. RESPONSIBILITIES: - keep a clean work space / keep track of shop tools - collect material & components / stage work area to begin process - align components & material properly - maintain tools in good condition REQUIREMENTS: - technical knowledge - operate battery & electric hand tools properly & safely (impact driver, drill, grinder, sawzall, etc...) - able to read & accurately use a tape measure - able to read & comprehend instructions
