We are looking for an experienced mill worker to: Ensuring that production quotas are met by monitoring and adjusting equipment settings or adding more raw materials as needed Inspecting parts for defects and performing basic maintenance on machinery as needed to ensure proper functioning Operating machines that drill, grind, cut, press, shear, polish, punch, or reshape materials Performing basic arithmetic calculations such as conversions between units of measure, using scales, or measuring materials Inspecting materials to ensure they meet quality standards before beginning production processes Operating industrial machines to convert raw materials (wood) into finished product Reporting production issues and malfunctions to supervisors **Please send resume and/or photos of your work as well as your contact info or stop by for an interview at Monday-Friday 8am-4pm: 58-70 56th Street Maspeth, NY 11378 We are looking for a qualified finish Carpenter to: Cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.
