Female helping friend needs advice/help

Hi my friend is an older guy who is needing help getting his truck up and running. It's a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 it broke down on 15th st ne. Put a diagnostic on it came back as air is all I was told. Motor is a 5-0. Thanks in advance
