Description

In this class, you and your partner will learn how to mount pen blanks on the lathe, turn the pen barrels and apply a finish. Bring your own tools if you have them, use our tools if you don't! The instructor will demo and review the process. The final step will be assembling the pen. Adult beverages to be served upon completion of the class. Great For Ages 21+ Beginners, no prior experience needed This class counts toward Idea Foundry membership, and Idea Foundry workshop members who have taken this class are cleared for independent use of these tools in the shop. All materials and safety equipment supplied. Closed-toed shoes, long sleeved shirts, natural fibers (cotton, denim, linen), with long hair pulled back must be worn. Plan to arrive for class about 10-15 min early and check in at the front desk. Our main entrance is on State Street, with parking lot entrance on State St. as well. IF parking and street parking available.
