SUMMER PROJECT HELPER - STUDENTS / PART-TIME

I'm looking for someone to help out with a summer project. Perfect for a student looking to make extra money over the summer. Location is Homestead, near the Waterfront Shopping Center. I'm fixing up my new office by myself and looking for a helper. Not looking for a contractor, I've got all my own tools, you don't need anything. I'm doing it all myself, but I could really use an extra pair of hands. Plus, conversation makes the work go faster! Looking for someone reliable who is available for 10-15 hours a week, schedule flexible. The project I am mainly working on right now is some insulation and drywall. But again, you don't need to know anything about this type of work, as long as you have a friendly helpful attitude! The space we're working in is my soon-to-be office for my comic book printing business. Also, the AC is already installed and working wonderfully, so it is very comfortable, not nasty and hot and dirty. I'm already past all the "hard construction" type of work, so other than carrying around some sheets of drywall together, which can be a bit heavy, it isn't hard labor. I like to work casual and friendly, but respect and responsibility and reliability are a must. SCHEDULE: -- I am flexible and can work with you to pick a schedule that fits what you've got going on, especially if you're a student or have another part-time or main job. But once we pick our work days you need to be reliable because I will be moulding my own work schedule around that. -- I'm looking for 2-4 days a week at about 4-6 hours per day. Basically about 10-15 hours a week, flexible. -- Afternoon's preferred, but evenings/weekends are possible, too. REQUIREMENTS: -- Must be comfortable on ladders. -- Must have your own transport, so that you can always be on time. -- Must be reliable! -- Must be physically fit. Some projects we'd be working on would require muscle and stamina. -- Proof of COVID vaccination is required! (If you think this is ridiculous, just move on.) -- Must be drug free. TERMS: -- It would start at $17.50/hr, payday is Friday. -- Basically looking for a "summer helper" thinking there might be some students out there looking for extra money between semesters. However, I won't be done with everything by the end of summer, so it doesn't HAVE to stop at the end of summer if you are still available. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED: Just tell me a little about yourself, your schedule, your availability, etc. Tell me why you might like to do this, and remember, you don't have to convince me that you're a remodeling pro or that you already have experience.
