Who: All Mothers & Daughter(s) (12-24 years old); everyone must have a ticket What You Will Learn: How to make different cookie dough & flavoringBasics of cookie cutters and baking (no actual baking involved in this class)How to make icing and different icing techniquesImportance of textures for flooding your cookiesHow to color, create your own designs, piping work and putting together frostingsHow baking can improve your overall mental wellnessTools to gain self-awareness How to be more empowered in your own life and relationshipsThe Details: Everyone will walk away with recipe cards, decorate 5 themed cookies to take home and a few tools in your pocket for personal growth! The Pastry Bar Chefs, Stephanie Whitcomb and Maya Hughes, will be walking you through an in-depth demo on how they make their cookie dough and icing, share their favorite ingredients and techniques, and show you how to flood and decorate your cookies with all the tips and tricks. Steph and Maya will make it easy for you to learn how to decorate cookies and EVERYTHING IS PROVIDED! Girl Thriving Founder, Mandy Fontaine, will be weaving in an inspirational and encouraging message about being your authentic self. You will walk through a couple of coaching exercises that she uses with her students to gain a greater sense of self, confidence and self-worth; all of which have been proven to lead to greater overall happiness and success in life (Duval & Silvia, 2022). FAQ: 1. What if I purchased a ticket and can't make it? There are no refunds or transfers to other classes unless the class is cancelled. If you cannot attend and decide to have a friend come in your place, please contact us as early as possible before the class so we have the correct participant name and email in our records. 2. What happens after I purchase a ticket? Once you purchase a ticket, you’re all set! Immediately after you register, you will receive your ticket(s) via email with all of the class details, location, directions, etc. Just show up at the class time ready for some decorating fun. 3. What should I wear? We recommend that you don't wear any clothing that you would be devastated to get dirty or get food coloring on. 4. Do you offer gluten free cookies? Sadly, not at this time.
