Developing and implementing a change management strategy for volunteer programming delivers organizations a return as high as 6x. This training provides a path for participating organizations to create that strategy to maximize their impact. The Volunteer Programming for Maximum Impact course is an engaging and interactive training with coaching by subject-matter experts. This two-day course is in-person and gives participants opportunities to network with other industry professionals. This training will deliver the following to your organization: Lay the groundwork for a mission-centric volunteer programDevelop a change management strategy to achieve your organization’s goalsSecure senior leadership support and staff buy-in for strong volunteer management practicesBuild processes to maximize return on investment Design strategies for volunteer recruitment and retentionCreate an organizational plan to create positive and meaningful volunteer experiencesInvest in the role of volunteer coordinatorDevelop a plan for sustainability to ensure organizational continuityOrganizations will have the opportunity to earn a *UServeUtah Volunteer Management Designation. The UServeUtah Designation program was developed to recognize Utah organizations that signal a commitment to excellence in volunteer programming. Earners will complete the Designation Requirements by the deadline (four months post-training) and can earn varying levels of recognition: Bronze Level: Complete 3 evidence items Silver Level: Complete 6 evidence items Gold Level: Complete 9 or more evidence items The Volunteer Management Designation serves as a trust indicator that the organization’s volunteer program is recognized by UServeUtah. Earners of this designation have completed UServeUtah’s professional development course and evidence items. It signifies successfully integrating best practices in their organizations’ volunteer programs. *This is a certified designation from the State of Utah’s Division of Service and Volunteerism.
