Please join us at the Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame on July 9th and help us celebrate our state’s official question: “Red or Green?”, and learn about all things chile peppers! Participants will be designing their own aprons to take home and putting together a chile recipe book! They will also make origami peppers and have an opportunity to speak to the New Mexico Chile Association, who will be on hand to with a display of chile pods, plants, seeds, and great information! We need your recipes! Please send your favorite red or green chile dish recipe to [email protected] by July 7th to have it added to the collection participants can choose from and put in their chile recipe book!
