Sarah Carr lived a vivacious life centered around her love for music, art, literature, design and more. In December of 2021, Sarah was diagnosed with Glioblastoma - a rare and terminal brain cancer. Sarah carried her diagnosis with dignity and courage, spending her remaining time reminding us all that life is precious. On June 17, 2021 - Sarah died, leaving a hole forever in our hearts. In honor of Sarah’s memory, we have created an annual scholarship fund, Symphonies for Sarah, for a deserving artist in the performing, visual, fine, digital and the design arts catogories. The fund will be used to aid an artist on a meaningful project or to provide financial support to an exceptional student studying one of the catogories. Our hope is that Sarah’s love for the arts will live on through this fund and help others to create. To kick-off the support of Symphonies for Sarah - please join us for a party (in true Sarah fashion). Music provided by the amazing: Bryen O’Boyle (lead singer of Greengenes) at Josie Kelly’s Public House - an awesome Irish Pub in Somers Point, NJ. Your ticket cost goes directly to the scholarship fund. Both Bryen and Josie Kelly’s have graciously donated their time/venue - we are humbled by their support and incredibly grateful.
