Yoh Life Sciences is seeking a Packaging Support Associate to support our Genomics client in the San Francisco Bay Area. Pay Rate: $18/hr Industry: Genomics Location: San Francisco Bay Area Type: Contract to Hire Responsibilities Initially learn how to build all types of columns, then eventually learn the bottling process in order to fill customers and internal orders in accordance with written methods. Maintain written and computerized records of production and equipment used in the process. Work with production employees to package bulk product and prepare samples as needed. Work with QC personnel for column evaluations and to assist in troubleshooting any persistent column or bottling failures. Maintain all equipment and workspace to preserve the integrity of the product and prevent contamination. Follow all quality, safety, material handling, and other workplace policies and guidelines. This entry level position involves the transfer of bulk materials into smaller package sizes for sale or internal use, typically into either bottles or DNA synthesis columns. Qualifications High school diploma and/or demonstrates proficiency to meet the requirements of a Packaging Support I.
