Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an opening for a Field Technician/Runner in San Jose, CA. The successful candidate will know they Bay Area well, have the ability to use map programs to navigate through the Bay Area cities, able to lift up to 70lbs at a time, good communication skills, basic computer skills, enjoy working outdoors, and is interested in the construction engineering industry. Duties will include, delivering and picking up samples on various construction projects throughout the Bay Area, coordinating deliveries between our two Bay Area offices in Alameda and San Jose. The successful candidate will also maintain clear communications with the Project Manager regarding all aspects of the field operations, such as providing neat and orderly project documents. Required Skills: The successful candidate should have some knowledge of Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic are also required. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
