Check-in: 8:30 a.m. Mega Putt: 9:30 a.m. Shotgun Start: 10:00 a.m. Reception: 3:00 p.m. Format of Play: Scramble format involves four golfers all on the same team playing together. Each team member hits a tee shot on each hole. The team then collectively decides which of the four balls is in the best position to play next. This annual event is one of the largest fundraisers for the San Diego Bowl Game Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit community enhancement organization, which produces one of the nation's most exciting college bowl games, held here in San Diego at the end of December.
