BLACK/DOOM METAL - ISO drummer

We're a black/doom metal band from Oakland looking for a drummer to resume some local live activity and then if things work out nicely do some one-off short tours in the US and abroad. We have label support and well established connections/relationships so all that will be effortless, easy, productive and mostly, fun. We'll send music to check out to any promising prospects. Reference bands to get an idea of our sound: Primitive Man, Corrupted, Altarage, Dragged Into Sunlight, Triptykon, Dead Congregation, Tyanny, Sunn O))), Portal, etc. You need to be local, ideally in the immediate Bay area, be able to blast effortlessly (200 BPM at times), use double kick etc, have a kit and transportation, commit to weekly rehearsals etc etc. The band has been around for years and we're all seasoned musicians with a dedicated and professional outlook toward things. We also all have full time work, families etc, so this is a quite worry free band where touring/shows happen selectively and no one is required to be far from home for long periods of time. Drinking/substance use/abuse, lack of income/stability etc are not compatible with this gig. Get at us.
