An afternoon of rest designed for Mamas of any age! Expectant mamas
in any trimester, as well as “new” mamas (no matter the age your child
or children) can benefit from this class. Come and nurture yourself with
poses designed to allow your muscles to relax deeply, your body to
open, and your mind to quiet and slow down. Deep relaxation results
in a reduction of blood pressure and muscle tension, improves
digestion and sleep patterns. Using props to support your body, which
will help you find the deep rest that you crave, allowing you to find the
energy you need to care for those who rely upon you.
This class is a baby and child free class. No yoga experience necessary.
Please wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers.
You must provide the yoga props necessary: Yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, 2 yoga blankets or
beach towels PER PERSON. If you have a yoga bolster, please bring it as
well.
