NEW YORK CITY — Friday got off to a slow start for many straphangers whose MTA subways lines were hit by delays.
A disruptive passenger at Spring Street caused delays for northbound 6 trains, the MTA posted at 8:08 a.m.
C trains ran with delays in both directions after EMS crews responded to a medical emergency at the 168th Street station, according to a 7:46 a.m. post.
B and Q trains headed south ran with delays after crews removed a train with a door problem from service at Newkirk Plaza, the MTA posted at 7:54 a.m.
And some express passengers on two lines had their travels rerouted to local tracks because of a signal problem near Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street.
Some northbound D trains ran on the local track from 36th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Centers, the MTA posted at 7:59 a.m.
Likewise, some northbound N trains ran on the local track from 59th Street, according to the same post.
