Fairhaven United Methodist Church, 12801 Darnestown Rd., seeks a part-time Director of Technology. Purpose: The Director of Technology supports the Church through streaming of our Sunday services, setting up meetings, updating church technology, and consulting with technology professionals serving the church. Responsibilities: Subject to review and adjustment as needed in coordination with the Pastor and Staff-Parish Relations Chair, the following constitutes the major responsibilities of this position: Running hybrid worship services and large church meetings. Special events, such as funeral services and weddings will be compensated separately. Setup and run all tech necessary for Sunday worship services (ie: sound system, computer setup for hybrid-style worship…) Providing support for the Sunday Zoom service and church meetings, such as answering Lay Reader technical questions, organizing the music recording, and assisting with email of information to designated participants. Assisting, as needed, with graphics work for video services.
