PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Numerous adorable adoptables await their forever homes through The SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County, Inc. Buttercup, a young German Shepherd, is described by her foster family as "wonderful" and well behaved. She's gentle with young children and gets along well with most other dogs. She is crate trained, but sleeps well on a dog bed in her foster parent's bedroom. She is intrigued by squirrels and birds, so she'll require additional training when walking on a leash. She does great on runs and would make a great running or walking friend for an active family. Buttercup has what the vet believes to be an old injury to one of her paws that caused her to lose the tips of some of her toes, but it is healed now and doesn't cause any problems.
