OAKLYN, NJ — An man was arrested in connection with "numerous" graffiti and criminal mischief complaints that occurred in Oaklyn this spring, authorities said. Phillip Schad, of the unit block of West Oakland Avenue in Oaklyn, was arrested June 5 and charged with seven counts of criminal mischief and one count of defiant trespass, according to authorities. Schad "supplied a full confession," while questioned being by police, authorities said. He was released with a municipal court date, authorities continued. Also in Oaklyn, police found four juveniles from Audubon out past curfew on June 4, according to authorities. When stopped by police, these juveniles had two book bags with "numerous cans of spray paint" inside them, according to authorities. The juveniles may be responsible for criminal mischief/graffiti on the roadway of the Atlantic Avenue bridge over Nicholson Road in Audubon, authorities said. Each juvenile was charged with a curfew violation and released to their parents, authorities continued.
