Job description Full Time Facilities Technician – Hourly $15-$17/ Hour Summary: Technician is self-motivated and a service oriented professional. Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation in all aspects of the facilities. Provides a clean and safe community for our members and staff. Perform maintenance applications as needed. Skills: Attention to detail. Understands the importance of all aspects of a given task. Work ethic- Places value on hard work and achieving goals. Takes accountability for their work and related tasks. Excellent communication skills. Prioritization and time management skills. Duties: Actively performs cleaning and sanitization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming of all common areas, offices, and restrooms. Collect and dispose of all trash in facilities and in parking area. Keep stocked any amenities for restrooms. Window cleaning; Table and Furniture Polishing Maintains and properly stores equipment and cleaning supplies. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall repair. Be able to troubleshoot basic repairs to equipment and building systems. Experienced using hand tools and power tools. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and be able to climb a ladder. Ability to grasp, lift, and or carry. Education and Experience: Must have a High School diploma or GED. Must be able to write, read and speak English. At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
